Description
Jeannette Glass Co, 1930s, Elegant American glass serving Bowl, Vegetable Dish. Scalloped flat rim. Embossed Floral Border. Feather Medallion Center. FUN FACTS: During Great Depression, pieces like this oval serving bowl were often distributed as promotional items. They were packed inside Quaker Oats boxes; handed out at local gas stations; or given away as movie theater incentives to draw customers. This high-volume production model kept their Pennsylvania factories operational during severe economic collapses. Grandmillennial Decor, Cottagecore, Shabby Chic, Romantic Pink Aesthetic, Baby Shower serveware, Housewarming or Wedding gift. NOTE: I wasn't able to fully capture the elegant etched pattern ... It's lovely!
