This is a used US military surplus rotating book stand. It has a cool gray color.
I previously purchased it at an antique shop in Fussa, Tokyo. It is sturdily made.
Believed to be from the 1960s, this is a rugged, shabby, masculine item with a substantial feel!
The size is approximately 37 x 37 cm, and the height from the bottom of the rotating part is approximately 26 cm.
