Published under the house name Victor Appleton, the stories followed young inventor Tom Swift through a world of new technologies, engineering feats, exploration, and adventure.  This group of six retains its wonderfully graphic period bindings, with illustrated spines and covers in warm shades of ochre, red, and black. The set has an especially strong decorative presence when displayed together.  Condition  Vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including rubbing, discoloration, fraying and wear to the cloth at the spine ends and corners, and toning/age-related wear to the pages.
