Showa-Heisei Era Wooden 5-Drawer Chest, Drawer Storage, Classical, Bedside, Kiritsu

A 5-drawer chest made in Japan, manufactured in the 1990s.
Features a classical Western-style design with molded drawer fronts and wooden turned knobs.
This piece is finished with veneer and is in usable condition for practical storage.

- 5-drawer structure
- Molding (frame-like carving) on each drawer front
- Wooden turned knobs (5 total)
- Drawer interiors finished with lightweight paulownia-like wood
- Stable, self-supporting structure with a base (bottom base)

Designed to provide 5 levels of storage within a compact body measuring 385mm wide.

[Era and Rarity]

This type of classical Western-style chest was widely produced in Japan during the 1980s and 1990s.
A quality inspection tag from the domestic manufacturer Kiritsu remains on the back, confirming it is a Japanese-made product.

[Condition]

- Top surface: Multiple minor scratches and white marks
- 2 corners of the top surface: Veneer peeling (see photos)
- Drawer interiors: Minor signs of use
- No wobbling

As an antique item, it is maintained in a condition that allows for practical use as storage.
