A masterpiece by Robert Furber, known for his 18th-century botanical illustrations. This is an art print of December from the Twelve Months of Flowers series.
Purchased at an art gallery in London approximately 30 years ago and framed on the spot. Due to being displayed for a long time, there is fading from sun exposure, but it is a flavorful vintage botanical artwork that still captures the atmosphere of England at that time.
The tape on the back has deteriorated with age, but the frame itself can be replaced.
