Antique Pink Molded Cameo Brooch Faux Seed Pearl Gilt Brass Pin Edwardian Era Jewelry Early 20th Century  Charming early 20th-century cameo brooch featuring a molded pink lady in profile surrounded by an ornate pierced gilt-metal frame. Four tiny faux seed pearls are set in flower-shaped mounts around the cameo.  The delicate openwork frame features scrolling and floral details with a finely textured border. The brooch is finished with an older-style pin and safety catch on the reverse.  The cameo does not have the cool feel normally associated with glass and is believed to be an early molded plastic. Exact material has not been tested. The nonmagnetic gold-tone frame is believed to be gilt brass. There are no maker's marks or metal purity marks.  Based on its construction, materials and pin hardware, this piece is believed to date to the early 20th century, approximately the 1910s–1930s.
