Vintage Signed V. Howes Sunset Pine Tree Landscape Painting Framed 12.5x14.5”

For sale is a vintage framed painting capturing the quiet mood of a sunset landscape: a solitary pine tree stands in silhouette against a glowing sky, surrounded by shrubs catching the day’s last light. The warm blend of deep orange and soft yellow evokes that hushed moment at the end of the day, as nature settles toward night — a scene with a gentle, wistful beauty that is as calming as it is bittersweet. The piece is signed “V. Howes” in the lower right corner; no information on this artist could be identified, and the medium is not specified by the seller. The painting is set on canvas with a linen-textured mat/liner and housed in a dark wood frame with a molded profile; the overall framed size measures approximately 12.5” x 14.5”. The frame shows light wear and minor surface scratches consistent with age, with no chips or cracks noted; the canvas itself shows no cracking or damage. The piece has a working sawtooth hanger on the back, ready to display. This vintage piece, though by an unidentified artist, is skillfully rendered and would bring warmth and atmosphere to any cabin, lodge, or rustic-themed
