Vintage pair of framed needlepoint or cross-stitch pictures depicting an 18th-century or Victorian-era colonial man and woman in dark wood frames.   Mid-20th-century (often 1950s–1960s) handmade.   Matching pair featuring an aristocratic or colonial gentleman and a lady in period attire.  Unique mauve background.    Wooden frames with glass.  Frames show wear as shown in pictures including rubbing of wood, scratching and damage to the back paper.  Frames have brass colored border.
