Vintage 1909 Vintage floral birthday postcard with swastika good luck symbols.

This particular postcard features a common motif of flowers, symbolizing beauty and good wishes, alongside a handwritten birthday message. The presence of the swastika symbol in the corners, while now associated with negative connotations, was widely used as an ancient symbol of good fortune and wellbeing in many cultures, including in Western art and design during the early 1900s. Postcards became a popular form of communication and collectible item in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They offered a quick and inexpensive way to send greetings, messages, and even images across distances. * items are from a smoke free home without damage or modification. * all items are sold (as is), no returns will be accepted.
