Antique Mother of Pearl Flower Basket Brooch Gold Tone Rhinestones

Beautiful early vintage to antique flower basket brooch featuring a carved mother-of-pearl basket overflowing with delicate dimensional flowers, leaves and curling vines.  The intricate floral decoration is crafted in gold-tone, non-magnetic metal and accented with sparkling clear rhinestones. The mother-of-pearl basket has a lovely carved woven texture with natural iridescence that catches the light beautifully.  The reverse features an older-style long pin stem and simple C-style catch. The metal shows natural patina and surface wear consistent with age. Unsigned with no maker's mark found.  Based on the construction and style, this piece appears to be an early 20th-century design, although the exact age and maker are unknown.
