A really special Hermès carré — and completely unworn. “Projets Carrés,” designed by legendary Hermès artist Henri d'Origny, is a witty take on the house's equestrian heritage: bridles, bits, stirrups, spurs and flashes of brilliant orange against a deep charcoal ground, finished with that fantastic acid-lime border. 100% silk twill, made in France. Approximately 35 x 35 / 90 cm square. Condition: Pristine, unworn condition without retail tags. No stains, pulls, holes or other flaws that I can find. The silk is beautiful and the hand-rolled edges are intact. Includes the Hermès box shown in the photographs. A gorgeous one for an Hermès collector — but frankly too much fun to leave in a box.
