Vintage lightweight woven fabric featuring an allover oak leaf and acorn botanical print in muted blue-gray/green on an ivory ground, accented with tiny brown stippling. Approximately 2+ yards x 56” wide. This is an exceptionally lightweight, thin woven fabric with a smooth, slightly crisp hand. It has the characteristic soft rustling/swishing sound often associated with vintage lining fabrics. Exact fiber content is unknown; likely a manufactured fiber or blend. Despite its light weight, the fabric is not especially limp or gauzy and has a clean, smooth surface. It would be particularly suitable for garment lining, lightweight apparel, costume sewing or other projects calling for a thin printed woven fabric. Estimated 1970s, possibly late 1960s–1980s.
