Kendo Kendo Equipment Bamboo Dō Abalone
231.00 $
Description
Kendo Dō (chest protector) with a 43-piece Dōdai (body plate) featuring mother-of-pearl inlay.
This is a used Dō that has been polished and newly lacquered.
The mother-of-pearl inlay is a luxurious finish, using approximately three times the amount of mother-of-pearl pieces of varying sizes (small, medium, and large) compared to commercially available Dōdai with mother-of-pearl inlay. Although it is a new Dōdai and uses more mother-of-pearl than commercially available ones, we are offering it at this price by cutting out intermediaries such as stores.
The size should be suitable for the average adult male.
The front-facing photos tend to lose the blue hue due to lighting conditions, so please check the side images for a better representation of the color.
The chest piece that was originally attached will be included.
