Shiko Munakata
Nyōnin Kanzeon Woodblock Print Series
March: Baika Hakuhiki no Saku
This is one print from a calendar that was distributed by Yaskawa Electric Corporation, who were patrons of Shiko Munakata. They obtained the rights to print these images (※not original prints) through their relationship with him. While not a fake, it is not an original woodblock print.
Yaskawa Electric discovered Munakata's talent and supported him when he was still unknown. Their mark is on the back of the print.
