Authentic vintage 1940s–1950s Bakelite belt buckle, tested. Beautiful oversized bow/butterfly silhouette in a mottled olive-green color with carved linear detailing and decorative metal wraps at the center. Original metal buckle mechanism remains attached on the reverse. Wonderful sculptural statement piece for a true vintage belt restoration, dress sash, fashion collection, or Bakelite collector.
