"Tale of the Heike" Fan Painting - Luxury Porcelain Plate Set (10 plates) - Limited Edition Pre-order (3 plates missing from a total of 13)
Thank you for looking.
Set of 10 exquisite fan-shaped porcelain plates, boxed.
Original artwork by Masami Irie, supervised by the Okayama Museum of Art.
Produced by Franklin Gallery in April 1983 (Showa 58) as a limited reservation sale.
Includes one B5-sized Franklin Gallery Certificate of Authenticity and one Tale of the Heike Fan Paintings - General Discussion.
Additionally, each of the 10 plates comes with a Japanese paper bookmark of the same size.
The missing plates are the first, fifth, and seventh pieces.
The certificate has some stains, the bookmarks have some creases, and the box has minor scuffs on the exterior. The fabric lining inside the case also shows signs of wear.
However, aside from these minor imperfections, there are no major stains or damage. Considering they are approximately 40 years old, they are in remarkably beautiful condition. Plate stands and frames are not included. As you can see in the photos, these are rare Japanese paintings with transparent, clear, and elegant colors. They are also valuable as porcelain craft pieces and can be enjoyed displayed on shelves or similar.
Please note that these are not brand new items, so those who are overly sensitive to minor imperfections are advised not to purchase.
Thank you for your understanding.
