Description
Reproduction lenses are high-performance special lenses primarily designed for copying (faithfully reproducing originals) and plate-making applications. Unlike regular photographic lenses, they offer extremely low distortion and exceptionally high resolution with flat rendering performance when shooting at or near 1:1 magnification from plane to plane.
This is a high-precision reproduction lens made by the German company Agfa, which was used in process cameras.
Reproduction Edition: In recent years, lenses that faithfully reproduce the rendering of past masterpieces, such as Leica's Summicron-M 35mm f/2 (8-element) have been referred to as reproduction lenses.
A high-precision German-made prime lens, REPROMASTER 1:9.25/213, with an aperture range of f/11 to f/45.
