Otona no Kagaku Magazine BEST SELECTION 06 Theremin mini

Gakken Otona no Kagaku Magazine BEST SELECTION 06 Theremin mini
(Published September 11, 2022)

This was obtained as a return for the crowdfunding campaign for the All Japan Theremin Festival held on Saturday, March 28th.
It has been opened, but the Theremin mini (kit) is unopened, and I have only briefly flipped through the mook. It is almost new.
It appears to be from the publisher's stock and is in very clean condition.

There are several versions of the Otona no Kagaku Theremin mini.
The Theremin mini in this BEST SELECTION is an improved version of the Otona no Kagaku Magazine Vol. 17 (published October 2007, featuring Theremin Hiroshi playing the theremin on the cover).
The improvements are:
- The antenna is more robust than the previous version.
- It includes a stereo mini-jack for external output.
- It has a ground connection (metal for body grounding).

While the 2007 edition booklet has a very broad and substantial content, including articles on the history of electronic musical instruments including the theremin, interviews with various people, and circuit diagrams for the Theremin mini, this new mook focuses on how to play it.
For those who want to learn more about the theremin itself, we recommend the 2007 edition.
Conversely, the 2007 edition has too much background information, making the handling and playing instructions for the Theremin mini a bit difficult to understand. Therefore, for those who want to play the theremin regardless of the details, this BEST SELECTION edition may be more suitable.

There is also a green version of the Theremin mini, but I do not own it, so I do not have detailed information about it.

The listed price is almost the actual cost (original price + shipping + Mercari fees), so please refrain from price reduction requests as there is no profit included.
