Description
Vintage Mexican folk art lot features a rare graduated family set of seven miniature cat figurines hand-carved from natural banded onyx. Each piece showcases unique, translucent mineral layers ranging from rich amber-honey tones to pale cream whites with smooth, high-gloss polished finishes. The stylized felines are cleverly sculpted in a resting posture with distinct pointed ears, smooth rounded backs, and tiny carved paws. Measurements follow a strict stair-step graduation, with the largest cat measuring 1.5 inches long and tapering down to a tiny 0.75 inches for the smallest.
