Talavera Mexico Hand Painted Spoon Rest Blue White Pottery 10.5" Lead Free

DESCRIPTION Bring the warmth and artistry of a traditional Mexican kitchen into your home with this beautiful hand-painted Talavera spoon rest. For centuries, artisans in Puebla and throughout central Mexico have created Talavera pottery using techniques inspired by Spanish majolica and adapted with vibrant Mexican artistry. Today, Talavera remains beloved for its bold cobalt blues, flowing hand-painted patterns, and the fact that no two pieces are ever exactly alike. This spoon rest carries on that tradition with sweeping cobalt brushwork over a creamy white glazed background, offering both everyday function and timeless decorative appeal. Picture it resting beside a bubbling pot of homemade pozole, fresh pasta sauce simmering on the stove, or waiting patiently during holiday baking sessions. Between meals, it becomes a piece of art all its own, adding a cheerful splash of color to a farmhouse kitchen, Southwestern décor, hacienda-inspired home, or eclectic cottage kitchen. Generously sized to hold everything from wooden spoons to silicone spatulas and serving utensils, it helps keep countertops clean while bringing handcrafted charm to your cooking space. The hole at the top also allows it to be hung on the wall as decorative pottery when not in use. ---------------------------------------- FEATURES * Hand-painted Talavera pottery * Made in Mexico * Marked Lead Free Mexico * Traditional cobalt blue floral design * Glossy white glazed finish * Hanging hol
