■ Dyson's cross-head screws, such as those used for battery fixing, are technically Pozidriv (PZ) screws. If you look closely at the screw head, you'll see not only the cross but also fine grooves cut between them. Using a standard Phillips screwdriver in Japan often strips the screw head.
■ If you cannot turn a PZ1 screw with a PZ1 driver, it can often be turned with a PZ0 driver.
